YARD DRAINAGE SOLUTIONS

Excess water in your yard can lead to soil erosion, standing water, and foundation damage. At Frank’s Landscaping Inc, we provide professional drainage solutions to keep your landscape dry and protected. Our expert services include but not limited:
Poor drainage not only impedes your ability to enjoy your property, it leads to erosion as well as cracked and settling driveways and foundations, pooling water in yards and around swimming pools, erosion issues. It is the leading cause of dead landscaping in this area. The best solution for poor drainage is a properly designed, professionally installed drainage system. Drainage systems can consist of various items to help protect the home and property.
Frank's Landscaping Inc has the knowledge and experience in drainage system installations. We offer various solutions for yard drainage issues, including dry creek beds, French drains, catch basins and underground downspout extensions. We can use dry creek beds to stop soil erosion and push large amounts of water runoff where we want it. French Drains are a great solution to address soft, soggy areas without leaving an open trench or drainage ditch. We use catch basins to manage pooling water in specific areas catching water through a surface grate and then move it underground through pipes. Finally, downspout extensions will allow underground pipes to tie directly into gutter downspouts to move the water away from your home.
Here are some but not limited a proven solution for areas with poor drainage on property:

FRENCH DRAINS.
French drains absorb water from the surrounding soil. They can work well under pebble paths, beneath dry creek beds, and in landscape areas with poor soil drainage. To move water from areas where it accumulates, we sometimes use French drains in conjunction with catch basins and other drainage products.
CATCH BASINS & CHANNEL DRAINS
Catch basins and channel drains are in-ground drain installations designed to capture stormwater around your home. When used in conjunction with a comprehensive drainage system, they help collect stormwater and then move it underground through pipes channel it to a suitable location.

CREEK BEDS.
A dry creek bed, also known as a dry stream bed, is a gully or trench, usually lined with stones t dry stream beds for drainage, thus preventing erosion by reducing runoff. Stop soil erosion and push large amounts of water.

DOWSPOUT DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
Allow underground pipes to tie directly into gutter downspouts to move the water into a dry-well then dispersed away from home.
We use thick-wall PVC downspout drain lines.
Why do we prefer PVC? Unlike corrugated piping, it's highly durable, doesn't form "bellies" that hold water or debris, practically never clogs, and delivers a lifetime of reliable performance. PVC collects and removes downspout water dependably. It's also a zero-maintenance alternative to typical downspout drain line products.
Every property is different, so we tailor drainage solutions to fit your specific needs, ensuring proper water flow and preventing water-related damage.
Whether for homes or businesses, our drainage systems help prevent standing water, foundation issues, and landscape deterioration
The gutter systems installed on most homes today are a substantial contributing source of water around the house and throughout the yard. Many homes with yard drainage issues can significantly benefit from properly extending the gutter downspouts away from the home. When downspouts dump next to the house without being correctly routed away, the dirt becomes saturated, and several things happen. Water begins to pool in areas, and hydrostatic pressure begins to push on the home’s foundation. Over time this can lead to drainage and erosion issues, foundation settlement, and basement leaks. A properly installed drainage system is essential to protect your home.
Underground downspout extensions are a commonly overlooked on homes and can contribute to water-related damage to the house. Keeping the gutter system cleaned and maintained, with extensions in place, is a top priority to protect your home from water damage. Over time, water can reach areas it shouldn’t, it leads to causing landscape erosion, basement flooding, and even structural damage.
